Planet Fitness’ takeover of Times Square, the global epicenter of New Year’s Eve, has transformed NYE in Times Square into a sea of purple and yellow since 2016. The annual sponsorship brings festive fitness to a live crowd and global broadcast audience of billions of resolution-makers.
The much-anticipated yearly celebration includes a live performance stage for music, dance, games and more, parties at the Hard Rock TSQ, confetti cannons, branded swag, and VIP access + events leading up to and during NYE.
During the pandemic, Planet Fitness still found special ways to kick-off 2021 live in TSQ, including a “MOVE ON, 2020!” art installation on Good Riddance Day and socially distanced New Year’s performances attended exclusively by first responders and healthcare heroes live in TSQ.
