Civic’s leadership began their careers working for the City of New York, where they pioneered the model for public/private partnerships, securing corporate funding to support free public concerts, citywide sports tournaments, large-scale holiday celebrations, playground programming and more for the 5-boroughs.

From our inception, we have championed Brand Citizenship as ‘must-have’ across marketing + communications campaigns. We’ve always maintained that businesses exist to serve all stakeholders, and companies who align their purpose + profit can most credibly be good brand citizens and elicit powerful IRL change.
