Publicity for the Carol’s Daughter “Bump Day Block Party,” held in partnership with the Mama Glow Foundation, as part of the Carol’s Daughter “Love Delivered” campaign combating the Black Maternal Health Crisis. The beauty brand took to the streets of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn to celebrate Black moms and their village. Marquee guests included Assemblyman Brian Cunningham and beauty pioneer and Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price, who delivered remarks alongside the Mama Glow Foundation’s founder, world-renowned doula, Latham Thomas.
The family-friendly event was open to everyone and included Black-owned vendors (many with a focus on motherhood and children) and featured live entertainment from DJ Fulano and the Brooklyn United Marching Band. Hundreds of attendees could receive prizes, free products and access to maternal health and wellness resources.
Coverage in Black News Channel, Forbes, Healthline, NY Live, Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, The Grio and more, and 2.5B+ media impressions since 2021.
